hi!

i've pulled up the carpet in my house to expose the concrete underneath (going to acid stain it). here's the problem: some of the nails in the tacking strips that i've pulled up were rusted, and the heads popped off. so now i have sharp, dangerous, parts of nails still sticking up from the concrete. how exactly do i grind these puppies down flush? i don't have a dremel tool, just a cordless drill. any suggestions?
thanks!

Since you onlyhave a cordless drill, you can purchase a small grinding wheel and an arbor, be prepared to stop and recharge the battery.
You can also snap off the nails as they are hardened, Just smack then with a hammer and when they bend over pry them up and smack them the other direction, they should break right off.
