The BobVila.com team regularly celebrates tools that make a difference for passion projects and every home improvement. And our Tool of the Year Awards is the culmination of it all.

After months of scouring the market and putting products through their paces, we’ve named the best of the best in new tools released since last fall.

Winners come in all shapes and sizes, spanning 10 key categories from essential hand tools to the latest in outdoor power equipment. There’s even a special nod to the year’s most exciting innovation, our Cutting Edge Award.
