I had put in an inline water filter a few years ago and have had no problems until the other day I noticed it was leaking. I turn the water off with the cutoff valve and had it off for a few days while I repared the leak. When I turned the water back on I noticed the sink and shower in the master bedroom had no water pressure. The toilet works fine. I am at a loss can someone please help.

1- The toilet unless it is a flushometer would work fine as the water in the tank is what makes it flush even if it does fill slowly

2- Have you made sure the valves you shut you opened completly?

3- If any sediment got into the domestic line then possibly you can back flush the water.

4- Some folks use a globe valve pattern on a domestic line forgetting the globe is for throttling and not designed for a main shut off.

If this is the case possibly the washer in side the globe became dislodged and is restricting the flow.

Personally I would double check to make sure all the valves are fully open and if they are either globe or gate then after opening fully give a 1/4 turn back so the valve stem doesnt become locked (binded)

Check for dirt in the airelator screen in the sink.

If that is the problem then you also have dirt in the shower head. Remove it and backflush it.
