we live in southern indiana ,im building a 28 by 54 brown county shelter house with a garage under half . im using 6 by 6 posts 10 foot on center with a 2 by 10 band board on each side of post, trusses approx 6/12 pitch, trusses set 3.6 ft oc, with a metal ribbed roof . THE QUESTION IS I PLAN ON SETTING POSTS ON 14 " DIAMATER BLOCKS 3.5" THICK , BORING THE HOLE 3.6 FT DEEP FOR THE POST, DROPING THE BISCUIT DOWN IN THE HOLE AND PUTTING A POST COLLAR ON OUT OF 2 BY 8 TREATED CCA ,SET LEVEL AND PLUMB POUR 2 BAGS OF SACRETE IN THE HOLE THEN POUR THE REMAINING WHEN WE POUR THE SLAB WITH 4000 LB CONCRETE NOT SURE HOW DEEP THE FROSTLINE IS ??????

I'm in Maine but I believe it is about three feet in your area. Go 3'6 to be safe. Ask the local boyus and inspector to be safer.

FWIW, this sounds drasticly understructured to me. has a designer or engineer had any input?
