Ceiling fans for comfort or air circulation efficiency? We have ceiling fans in every rm of our 2 story house. We also have dual air conditioning units for both floors. I say running the ceiling fans on the main floor with the air at 75 degrees helps with the upstairs cooling. My husband is saying it's a waste and that the fans shouldn't be run all the time. I also think running the ceiling fans in the upstairs rooms helps circulate cool air and husband thinks it's only a comfort if someone is in that room. He's trying to sweat me out! Help!
