We are in the process of selecting options for a new house and I wanted to get some thoughts about Brick versus Vinyl Siding. Is there any real benefit to a brick front other than asthetics? Is it worth 3 times as much as siding?

Also, our builder has an option for 6" siding instead of 4". Is this worth an extra few thousand $$?
