Sanding after texturing?
We just finished texturing our new basement drywall. We used thinned joint compound and blew it on with a rented compressor/hopper thing for an orange peel effect. I have a few questions before we proceed. Do we need to sand again, or can we just go ahead with priming the walls and ceiling? For the drywall dust that might still be on some sections of wall, what is the best way to remove this prior to priming? A damp sponge, perhaps? If so, how long should we wait after sponging to start priming? Thanks in advance.
