Had my basement finished last year. We're having problems keeping one room warm. I posted a heating question yesterday. One wall was framed up about six inches out from a cinderblock wall to leave room for pipes etc. Last night I looked thru an opening (they created a cabinet for access) and it doesn't appear that any insulation was put between the walls. There is also an old window on this wall that wasn't covered up. What do I do? Do I insulate and how do I get behind the whole wall now that basement is finished, carpeted, painted, etc. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Did anyone ever help you with this? You can get insulation that is "blown" into spaces that are not accessible. I've seen itsed in older houses in Alberta but don't know much about it.
