Help! There is condensation buildup on my windows which freezes into ice on cold winter days (-15 degree celsius weather). These windows are double pane and came with my 6 yr old house. The condensation builds up around the outside parameter of the window and not in between the glass. I checked the exterior caulking around the windows and they seemed fine. I notice the putty holding the double pane glass onto the wood frame has separated from the glass slightly. I wonder if this is the problem. If so, is it ok to chaulk over the putty or should the putty be removed and replaced? Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
