I have this problem for sometime now. When both shower and kitchen sink use at the same time the shower would change pressure which hot water will drop we then need to adjust hot water to maintain the pressure. Any help will be appreciated

The problem is normally a design defect

Plumbing is a science that deals with pressure and pressure drop (friction losses) and volume

If an installer has no idea about the "book knowledge" then the home owner is in deep trouble

Fro example as an expert witness most of the cases I handle are scalding where some elderly person is taking a shower and someone flushes a toilet and the elderly person is scalded.

Another design defect is the use of ferrous metal piping for potable water where the designed did not take into considerate the mineral deposits inside the piping system. Think of it as Harding of the arteries

Thank You Sylvan. How would I correct the problem that I inherit from previous owner? I know a little bit about the plumbing but I don't know the science of the whole process. If you could help me or direct me to get right information and process I am very thankful for all you help.

Thank You

Are you on a well and the system has a pressure tank?
If so it can be as simple as adding air to the bladder or replacing it if the bladder has burst.
The pressure tank helps to even out the water flow when more then one tap is opened.
It acts like a storage tank under pressure.

pressure in bathroom is fine but in the kitchen the water flow is really low. What is the problem?

The problem could be ferrous metal pipiing as opposed to copper

You can easily check the water supply by placing a magnet on the water pipe and it if sticks you have problems. Undersized piping causes a severe volume drop which can cause scalding
