30 amp 240 V extension cord that splits to 4 - 20 amp or 4 - 15 amp plug-ins
There are extension cords available for purchase that have a single 30 Amp 240 volt AC male plug on one end and it splits to four 120 volt female plug-ins on the other. If I plug it into a 30 amp 240 volt wall receptacle, how many amps are available for each 120 volt plug? One cord advertises it will support 4 - 20 amp plug-ins while another indicates it will support 4 - 15 amp plug-ins. What's the correct answer?
