our house is 1 1/2 years old, smoke and co2 detectors hard wired with 9v batts, alarms started going of randomly....changed batteries, reset to factory settings, and even had an electrician check for shorts. Still happening. Not as frequent, and not lasting as long or even spreading to all alarms, still wakes us up and startles us at random times. Fire part sounds, not CO2- so frustrating....what does anyone recommend. Contacting manufacturer? Replacing alarms? Right now they are all disconnected, not good.

I would suggest you contact the manufacturer, but I would be willing to bet they will ask you which detector is triggering first.
Let me back up. Wired smoke detectors are interconnected and when one of them goes off it signals the others to also activate, but there is usually a 2 second delay before the others are activated. I would try to isolate which one is going off first and maybe that is the only faulty one. listen carefully and try to figure out which one is going off first.

Do you know if the detectors are wired from a arc fault breaker ?
