treated plywood for lower half of basement walls
The valve on our water heater broke at our cabin and the basement filled with a bit of water. Usually we drain the water heater before we leave but forgot to! Anyway we had a contractor come in for the cleanup and he recommended treated plywood for the bottom 3-4 ft on the walls and then putting the dry wall on the top half. I wasn't sure if treated plywood could be used inside but from I've read this wood no longer has arsenic in it but is treated with a copper based chemical. So is it ok to use as noted above? And can it be painted?
