Not wanting to just ask the barber if I need a hair cut; before I get a professional to look at my basement I was hoping you could give me advice on what I will like need done.

The house was built in the 50s. I've live in it for 10 years with no water ever in the basement.

There are deposits of efflorescence on 5 to 15% of the surface area. I can easily whip the efflorescence away and the concrete behind it is smooth and not crumbling.

If it works I've attached a picture of the worst area.
