I recently purchased a new stainless steel sink. I'm having a very hard time cleaning. As suggested I used bar keepers friend but it always leaves a powdery white film. I don't leave it sitting too long. I sprinkle on wet surface and clean but it's always white. I also tried stainless steel magic and weiman stainless steel cleaner and polish. Nothing removes the water stains. It's only 3 months old and am so disenchanted with this sink. Wish I'd just stuck to porcelain. At least you see the fruits of your labor. Chrome would've been better. Can't change the sink out as it was very expensive and used too much. I hate this sink. It never looks clean or anywhere near what it looked like when I bought it. Really disappointed. If I'd known it was this difficult to clean and/or remove stains I'd never have purchased the damn thing. Grrrr. Any help would be appreciated please.

First, try Vinegar and if that does not work try Lime Away. It works on my stainless steel sink to remove all stains.
