Bob, can I build a 2' block wall which will be covered with stone veneer on top of my 4" patio concrete slab to close up the perimeter of the patio? My idea is to build support columns for a future patio cover but these will have their own foundations. Im just concerned about the no load bearing parts of the wall, can I sit those on the slab without additional foundation under the slab?
