I will be building a shed, 8 x 8, on a slight slope with the the door on the high end. I'm looking to find several ways to support the the shed in the back end or on all four corners. The rise of the slope is about a foot. Any suggestions would be great.

I would suggest a small retaining wall to level it out on the back. You'd then be sure that your shed would have a secure base.

The small retaining wall is a great idea. But if you don't want to do that, you can use the same construction as you would for a wood deck, using 4 x 4 post on concrete bases. How beefy you need the base will depend on what you are going to put in the shed, weight wise.
