I have a wood floor in my work shop. The floor joist are 2" x 10" treated lumber 16" on center spanning 9' with 3/4" tongue-n-grove ABS board. I'm considering the purchase of a 20" thickness planer with a base size of 30" x 30". This unit will weight about 850 lbs. Will my floor handle this weight OK.

Thank You

Your joist's would be able too. Although 3/4" alone may give you problems down the road. If possible I would stagger 1/2 on top run the opposite direction covering prior seams 6" over.
