Our 1.6 Gal toilet flushes very poorly - intermittently will gurgle and empty, but most flushes require at least two full tanks and leave at least a square of paper swirling behind. Filling a pot at the sink with 1-2 gallons flushes straight through, no problems. Below are all the steps I've tried and I'm out of ideas short of bringing in a pro who would probably do the same things. Anybody have an idea??

-BR sink and tub, connecting to drainage line on either side of toilet both drain fine, as does the downstairs toilet and bath (which are both below grade, and use an ejection pump to get up to sewer level, but my sense these rule out a downstream block. Also inspection video when we bought 3 years ago showed no problems from street back.

-Seals and stuff in tank all seem fine. Fills completely every time.

-Plunged it a lot, and snaked it with a 25' snake, which should have me well down into the line with all the other drainage, and nothing appeared to be blocking.

-Tried boiling water, vinegar+baking soda, boiling water, as well as enzymes (for 10 straight nights)

-Read you should never use drano, etc. in a toilet because of the danger of splashing, so haven't tried, but it's tempting. Though like the step above, I'm not sure in a flushing system below water level how well it would do reaching a clog anyway.

Anything else I can try???
