Circuit Breaker Won't Stay On Even W/ Nothing Plugged In
The outlet under the sink for garbage disposal was tripped and won't stay on. The breaker panel only lists the Garbage Disposal as the only thing that breaker covers and that is the only outlet under the sink. I have unplugged everything to that outlet and it still won't stay on. Nothing changed, added, replaced or happened in the house anywhere that would cause anything to happen. I can plug garbage disposal into ext cord to another outlet and it works fine and didn't trip the other breakers. The circuit breaker panel has everything written to what it goes to next to all the breakers as well. I haven't found any errors or anything omitted/missing on the breaker panel as it seems to cover everything. I am looking for the no brainer things to check before I replace the outlet and before I call an electrician if that doesn't work.
