I have this Tappan stove in a house that I bought just a few months ago. We use this stove everday, but I just want to get a new one so I am selling this one. This Tappan is the
"Golf Star Award" model # CAKNR-442D that includes the optional base cabinet. The stove is in good shape, I would need to clean the burners and tighten up the larger oven door as it is a little loose. Would anyone be interested in this stove? It does have the original owners manual, and I would hate to give this old stove to someone who wouldn't enjoy it's character.
Thanks for the lack of help. I have no idea what this is worth and would like to find out from people who would know. It would be better off with someone who wants it than on the curb or in a dumpster.

I'm sure someone would be. I frequently see people looking for that particular design of range either for parts or to replace an existing one. People have also requested getting a copy of an owner's manual for that range as well so if you have a copy, it might sell too.
I agree with hammerman that eBay is likely the best place to try and sell it. There is currenly one listed as you can see at the following link:

As it might be a great stove, you don't sell or look for prices on this forum. The Hammer did give you good advice and you come back and say thanks for the lack of help. That wasn't nice. If you wan't a general idea how much it's going for go to www.ebay.com and do a search. Obviously the item would have to be picked up because nobody would pay for the shippin and handling costs. When you list it on ebay make it clear in your terms that the item would have to be picked up. Try to be a little nicer next time!
