Hi. I am new here, so bear with me. We are looking at the option of finding an older house in good condition and have it moved onto our land. We are just in the beginning stages, and would welcome any advice or hearing of your experiences. What we've learned so far is that wood frame, with plaster outside and wood floor is the easiest to raise and move. That's about it. Our earlier thought was to either make our own adobe brick and build our own house or possibly purchase the brick and build, however, knowing how much work we have ahead of us I doubt we'll ever find the time to build our own house, which is why we are now looking at an older house to move.
