Hey all,

I'm dismantling my 60+ year old garage door, which was attached with square-head nuts and bolts. Normally, I'd use a standard wrench, but their awkward positioning makes that impossible with no access to the nuts & bolts except from the front.

I tried using my ratcheting wrench, but the hex-shaped drivers just won't hold. Are there square-shaped drivers for this older hardware?

You need an EIGHT POINT socket.......

a standard item......available from any tool, hardware, automotive supply that sells individual sockets.....

be sure to take a sample bolt for sizing.....

"...measure once.....cut twice....throw that one away and cut a new one...."
