tongue and groove pine ceiling is separating
We had a tongue and groove pine ceiling installed in November and as soon as the heat was turned on, it has been separating (visible gaps). The planks are drying and shrinking, but can I do anything besides taking it down and starting over? Caulking the gaps? If so, what kind? Help.
If the gaps are opening so that you can see the white ceiling behind, try and get a small brush in the gap and paint the ceiling behind black. You won't notice the gaps. If you want to fix the gaps you will have to take it down and re-install it tighter.
