FYI, If anyone is interested in building a deck with a wood that is dimensionally stable and resists twisting and warping. It will remain smooth, splinter-free and friendly to bare feet for years. Then you should take a look at Ipe wood. For more information on Ipe wood go to:

That is a beautiful deck, its so nice to see a maintained wooden deck. After reading all these composite deck problem posts I'm hoping that people are starting to see that composite isn't all that and start building wooden decks again and having them maintained professionally.
