Anyone recently having problems with black spots on trek deck. I've read some of the postings here but they are 2 or 3 years old. For those who did post about their decks, any solutions to how to remove the black spots. thanks,

I also am interested in removing a black spot on my trek deck also. Any ideas on the best cleaning solution?

Even after the trek company sent us a supply of cleaner and sent a contractor to remove the spots, they are still there. Trek co. has been sued in the past on this issue so I'm not sure when we called them why they were so evasive as to these spots. They knew all along that they could not be remove instead they played a game with us making us take pictures and explanations of the spots. I would not ever recommend this type of deck. Our deck is only a year old and it looks like terrible. Marlene McCann

Yes - my husband put our deck on in the spring (08) and we have noticed black spotting - will not go away - very odd - it is in liquid form - when I wipe it it stains and/or sometimee it is just a black spot not liquidy- it's not everywhere - for how expensive it is we are surprised by the black spotting
