I need to install an air gap for a new dishwasher. Three holes in the sink have been given over to the sink faucet and one to the spray. Without loosing the spray where do I install the air gap? Do I cut a hole in the counter top or put the air gap under the sink, or how do most people accomadate this new addition?

the air vent will work properly under the sink, just make sure you secure it in an upright position.
