I have a house, vintage 1952 that has a 1/2" municipal water service from the street.

All the plumbing is copper and in good shape.

If someone is showering and the toilet flushes than the pressure drops everywhere.

I have been researching ways to increase the pressure without increasing the service line, and was wondering if any one had any experiance with booster pumps.

Any advice would be greatly accepted.

Don't want to bust your bubble Alan, but 3/4" is the smallest incoming size allowed. By the time you got a booster pump, tank, and made all the necessary electrical and plumbing connections, you are coming close to the price of a new water service.
