We had our basement prepared for a future bathroom. I want to install a sewage ejector pump where the line from the bathroom comes in. I have removed the concrete floor and dug the hole, which is about 40 feet away. Unfortunately, where the pipe comes in it is about 24 inches from the top of the concrete floor. All the ejector pump systems have the hole down about 12 inches from the top. What is a reasonable solution to this problem?

Normally the waste lines from fixtures are run directly to the pit. It's hard to try and use an existing waste line that's at a different level. Try a search to see if you can get a deeper pit, if not, then can the plumbing waste lines be re-done?
