I'm having a running discussion (not an arguement at this point!) with my friend (builder) about using OSB on a roof instead of plywood. This project is in sunny Florida where it's very humid 50% of the year or more. With OSB's swelling problem and the potential of water infiltration (like in a hurricane or two) my vote is to avoid the product completely.... Anyone have any feedback?

I refuse to use OSB on any roof in any climate. I use Huber's Advantech product or plywood, but i am coming to believe the advantech is by far the better.

OSB only appeals to cheap tract buulders who need to save an average of seven hundred bucks on each house

Excellence is its own reward!
