Help! I wanted to surprise my husband with a router table - so I can't ask his opinion. He has a craftsman 8amp router. I want to go middle of the road, not skimpy but also remembering it's not his real job. Which ones do you recommend? I saw that the craftsman one wasn't recommended highly. Porter cable? Rousseau? Bosch??

Hi, first of all, it's a great idea. Now for choosing a router you must keep a few things in mind such as for what use you want to have that router and how much people will use it etc. I would suggest you go through the facebook page for a detailed description of all kind of routers you can get an idea of what you want from there.
