Is there any more information available on this? I have been looking on the web, and even tried calling the company but got something called "Universal Surveillance Systems"??? Does not sound much like tankless hot water...

Yes, I found the website. That's where I got the phone number, but like I say I got a "Surveillance Systems" company.

just curious, why would you want an endless supply of hot water? seems like a high energy bill to me!

I don't know if you could get an endless supply, but maybe if you upgraded your water systems and did some re-working you might get a good upgrade to something close to that.

Tankless hot water heaters have been in use for decades in Europe where they are the norm and not the exception. They take up less space and are much more energy efficient. There is still a lot of fear and trepidation about these systems here in the U.S., mostly because to a lot of people they are still new. 10 years ago I looked into getting a tank-less system but most plumbers knew nothing about them. Now I see plumbing companies advertising installation of these as a basic service. In short it is a much better system than storing a giant tank of hot water in your house, especially if you live where there are earthquakes. Just make sure you are aware of all installation needs before moving forward.
