GFCI protection for whirlpool tub
I am remodeling a house and have a homeowners electrical permit. My question is about GFCI protection for the whirlpool. The manufacturer says it needs two dedicated 120V lines, one for the heater and one for the pump. I ran #12 3wire w/ground from the panel, through a wall box for the timer, then on to the outlet for the tub. Can I use a double pole 20A GFCI breaker for this? I have read some posts with concerns about the shared neutral, but I am still having trouble getting a clear answer. Also, I am having trouble finding a DPST timer switch rated for 20A. Thanks for the help!
