Bathroom Paneling

We were thinking of using the popular white wood paneling for our bathroom, but were worried that it can get moldy, warp, etc.? Is wood really a good idea for the bathroom where showers and baths are taken?

If it came in white we wouldn't need to. But is there something we should put on the Wanesboard.

If it came prefinished I would not put anything over it as you may have an adhesion problem.
