We just had our hallway walls repaired and re-painted. The repairs involved removing popped nails and replacing them with screws, and patching. Old nail holes were also filled in all over the walls. As you can imagine, the walls have lots of plaster patches! The walls have just been painted. I am not happy at all with the paint job as you can tell where all the patching took place. I understand that plaster may absorb the paint a little differently than the original, untouched walls, i.e. the texture of the rollers are not apparant on the plastered areas as they remain smooth. How can we rectify this? It is really noticeable :(
