My kitchen cupboards have a teak finish and I would like to paint them. Is it true that the oil from the teak will keep bleeding through the paint and if so, is there a way to stop it? If they can be painted what do you recommend?

Clean the cabinetes real well with TSP cleaner.Follow the directions on label.Prime with Kilz primer or Zinnser.Either one is a good bonding primer, sealer.Using a small 4" sponge roller will give you a good finished look.Make sure you have plenty of fresh air,you will need it.
