We're doing a little remodeling, and want to put a small tile entry in a newly remodeled garage - now family room. I've never worked with tile and would like to know if a beginner could do this without too much problem. It would go over a concrete floor, and the area would be approximately 3' x 4'.
Thanks for any insight!

You should get instructions with whatever DIY product you buy. If your product DOESN'T come w/instructions, ctc. the Mfgr. BEFORE you buy to be sure you can get them.

I don't know if you're installing over 'virgin concrete' and I don't know if you're installing vinyl or ceramic tile.

My best to ya and hope this helps.

Dear J.R - If you live near a Home Depot check for classes. They give instruction on laying tile flooring and many other home projects. Don't know about Lowes, if they are closer call and inquire about classes.
