I want to finish a new wood floor area and want to use the same topcoat that was used in other areas in the home originally by the contractor (who is no longer in business). He used a Senteco finish instead of polyurethane but I can't seem to find it anywhere in Chicago. Any suggestions?

I believe you might be spelling the word wrong. I believe it is synteco, which is a swedish finish. This is normally more money then the other finishes but I have been told - one of the best. here is one place that uses it - this is a common finish but most do not use because of the fumes and the cost.
