I'm trying to remove vinyl plank flooring that is glued to a concrete subfloor, but the flooring breaks up into pretty small pieces. Is their a better way to remove the floor besides a hammer and chisel. At this rate, I will be here for weeks.

Is it vinyl that looks like wood?
There are machines that look kinda like a sod cutter, that installers use, maybe you can rent one.

if the floor will only come up in small pieces, you might concider laying your new floor over the old one ( use a floor patch to bring back to level what has been removed) .....good luck
