I recently bought an old federal style house. It is balloon framed so for insulation purposes I built an interior wall 9" from the existing walls. Now I have some apprehension about blowing in cellulose insulation because of the threat of decay through moisture. I lined over the interior walls with tar paper as a moisture barrier. What are my options?
