There is a leak somewhere the plumbers came 3 times and cannot find the leak. Its wet under my kitchen sink, under my dishwasher, we do not use the dishwasher.. the hall wall closet is wet and there is water under the carpet in the hallway by the kitchen door. There is no evidence of the leak on the pipe however the ceiling downstairs is showing water spots...I need help.
Call a different plbg. company...even though you dont use the dishwasher it shouldnt be counted out as it still has water/drain even though you dont use it....erik
1) Can you tell that the amount of water comes and goes? Does it get worse sometimes, or stay about the same? (I'm thinking of a possible rain leak here.)
2) Is there a bathroom on the other side of the wall from this kitchen? If so, did they check in there?
3) Is there a 2nd floor with bath, sink, etc. above?
4) Is there a crawl space below? Anybody look down there?
5) Have you looked under the refrigerator? The drip pan may be overflowing.
