HELP...my skin is going to fall off!!!I live in a condo that has city water. The water is of course very hard and since it is a condo I can't install a water softner. Does anyone have an suggestions on shower heads that have filters. I have tried a few of them and they were horrible. It was basically a waste of money. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank You!

The filters added to shower heads are very effective at some types of water treatment such as removing chlorine. But do nothing for softening the water, one cause for better skin condition.

There is such a thing as a portable water softener that can eb attached to one water outlet. It uses an ion exchange technology but regeneration has to be done elsewhere.

It is awkward and takes up some space. It really is a matter of desire, need and motivation.

I sympathize with your situation but condos, especially with slab or multi-level dwellings or association policies prohibit proper water conditioning.
