Here's the question: Does a baseboard heater (which will be 6" away from the shower door hinge) need to be ground fault protected and what is a recommended approach ? I am leaning toward previous approach of 20A standard breaker, 12 gauge wire, 15A GFCI outlet and 20A load connection to the heater. Outlet can't be "above" the heater, so I would put it about 6" to the left of the heater.
Can't see benefit in using 240 Volt connection if need GFCI. Am I missing something ?
