We have some solid wood paneled walls that have been previously stained (within the last two years) and want to paint over them. The stain is a "Natural" color and is oil based. Has anyone had success at using a latex based paint to cover this type of surface? How about primer - I'd like to avoid if possible so I can keep the wall texture showing through.
