Zach’s writing career began with a small newspaper fishing column while he was working as a fly-fishing guide in Lake City, Colorado. Zach built a camper van, an old 1994 GMC Safari with 200K on the clock, and outfitted it for full-time travel with electricity and water storage. With Zach’s roadside mechanic skills and some basic carpentry, it made the journey from Montana to southern Chile.
