My brain is fried on this one. Looking at online photos of other stair runners, it appears the best looking striped runners maintain an alignment perpendicular to each tread as a stair winds around a corner. My runner has lines that just don't line up when I do this.
What is the solution for maintaining my stripes while not over or under shooting their alignment on the next riser.
See photos. If my stripes are perpendicular to the tread and I align the right corner to the previous riser, the left edge is off by about 3". Waaaaa!!
