At front of house foundation. I have water that comes in from under the sill plate and down concrete wall, then goes into joint at floor. I had one "water leak specialist" come out and he injected some kind tri-polymer (not sure what, cause he wouldn't say). underneath window. The window sits right on the brink front. Brick stops at window rest is siding. Removed some siding and put some kind of paper flashing around top and I think side of window. Caulked the J channel at the ends and I complained - isn't this were the water is supposed to exit? Can write reply here. Another siding contractor said to remove siding at brick re-seal j-channel, and around window and drill some holes at end of j-channel for water to come out. I am trying to determine what type of contractor I should be looking for and some instructions on what type of fixes may work. Also the wood were the duct work is got very wet and I'm afraid it may have to be relaced.
