I currently purchasing a home that was built in 1906, While most all of its windows are intact, some of them have broken glass, some are water rotted, and one in the upstairs has one of those triple pane modern Argon gas build things! Which I hate, sorry. My question is, my ex lives in a home of about a similar build age, it might have been built a little later, but it has the same a type of old wood windows, some of which are in really excellent shape! Though I'm not sure if hers like some of mine, for example my bathroom window, have a rope and pulley system. I'm wondering, and set up replacing my windows with new ones, I'm thinking about either repairing my existing Windows, because I want to keep the home as original as possible, or when she goes to replace all of her Windows, if her Windows would fit in my frames? Of course I guess that depends on measurements, with Slash height Etc. Thanks a bunch of!
