Okay I came here to find the problem but no answer. I had the same problem and ***** came out to fix it. This is the problem!!!!! Remove the screws on the upper rear of the dryer and remove the top of the dryer not the back. Look down and on the left you will see a computer panel with a black wire. The problem is that the wire is not pushed down far enough to the board. It should lock in. You will know this is the issue when you see the control panel light up. Make sure the wire is secure it should not just be able to pull off. Hope this helped.

This worked like a charm, was about to give up and checked the black wire you talked about and it worked. Thanks for the info, all of this work just because sorry *** workmanship.

Worked for me too except it was ribbon of white wires with black plug not making contact. Pushed it in tighter and control panel lit up. Thanks for the info.

Do you unplug the dryer before messing with the wire?
