Buy yourself a GOOD book on how to do Plumbing. I'm not going to get into the 'basics' because that's what a few $$$ will buy you. Reader's Digest and Time/Life have decent books for a DIY GUY like you.
After that, visit HowTo Guides and in the list is a how-to guide on doing a Pedestal Sink. It may not exactly match what you're trying to do but get yourself a good book to 'augment' your install. I'd do that BEFORE I cut into anything.
My best to ya and hope this helps.

I 'think' it's because you have Frames Enabled in your browser. I just tried it in MS Internet Explorer and was able to duplicate your 'problem'. However, I use Netscape and I don't have that problem.
I checked IE and I can't find a setting that turns it on and off. And the same for Netscape. Try Netscape and let me know how it goes. If you want to give me Browser info (including version ID), I can find out more.

I know what's going on.
Do an Open Frame in New Window (i.e., do an opposite-click w/your mouse OVER TOP OF my link, and open the frame in a new window.)
In doing this, you'll start a 'new browser window'. The frame will not be there on the new window. Keep you eye on this Post and I'll find out if there's a way to disable frames in the browser.

PS: Sorry for the disruption too, DIY GUY ...
You can 'disable' Frames by UNchecking the Netscape Advanced Options: Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
Java is what allows Frames. By UNchecking the use of Java, you disable frames. HOWEVER, there is one side effect - In doing this BV.com will NOT load up because, well ..., it uses Java (in order to use Frames.) Kinda like a double-edged sword.
If you do the Open Frame In New Window (as I described in my previous follow-up, you'll be fine.
